Sometimes you´re strong
Sometimes you´re weak
Sometimes your heart wants to miss a beat.
But lo and behold! Someone comes along
To keep you from turning into coal.

Sometimes it´s easy
Sometimes it´s hard
Sometimes you ask: until when? How far?
But then in the dark someone speaks
Enlightens you and wipes your cheeks.

So now little girl, stand and go on
Lift your head for you made it this far
Your hands may be cold, your eyes may be wet
When a flat face can no longer pretend
When your soul is shaking and heavily bent.

Look up! Look up! There´s a hand outstretched from above!
There´s the warm hug that melts the ice
There´s the burning love that dries your eyes
There´s the good willing soul that guides and walks
With you thru the hardest times.

One day you will look back and understand
The growth you need indeed lies outside…
of the comfort zone that you already chose,
Now do not fall out, do not back away
What you can only do is prevail.

But keep That Heart, Those sparkling Eyes
It´s still worth believing in the magnificence of Sunshine.
Feel your love, feel your joy! Stay positive!
Focus on what is going great
Then everything else into the background will fade.

When the times are tough, come back here
And read how you dealt with uncertainty
Then realize where you are now,
May be a few more steps forward
So DO NOT let go.
